Comfort

The BMW M4 offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the BMW 440i with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. As far as headroom and legroom go, there’s not much difference between the BMW M4 and the BMW 440i in the front seats. Both passengers up front have ample headroom, and the ability to raise or lower the seats.

Dimensions

Since the BMW M4 is much wider than the BMW 440i, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the BMW M4 takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the BMW 440i. The BMW M4 could be a touch wider depending on the tires you have selected for the vehicle.

Performance

When it comes to horsepower, the BMW M4 has a much more powerful engine than the BMW 440i. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums. That being said, the BMW 440i can hold its own on the roadways in all scenarios. You will have no problem with performance regardless of the BMW you choose.

Utility

In terms of seating, you’ll be able to fit the same number of people in both the BMW M4 and the BMW 440i. The BMW M4 has significantly less cargo room than the BMW 440i, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping. However, you should still be fine doing some shopping and groceries with your BMW M4.

Handling

The BMW M4 has a larger turning radius than the BMW 440i, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots. With the BMW M4 being built primarily for performance, you will have all the power you have ever wanted but may have to sacrifice some turning radius in tight spots that you could find yourself in.

Overall, there is no right or wrong answer when you are deciding on which BMW vehicle to buy. BMW vehicles are very high-end, made with top-quality parts, and will provide you with an exhilarating driving experience.
